FASSEL For Delivery via Digital Platforms · C.R. 245317 · Version 2026-09-19

1. Who we are

Fassel is operated by FASSEL For Delivery via Digital Platforms, a limited liability company registered in the State of Qatar under Commercial Registration number 245317.
We are licensed for two activities and no others:
·
Digital platform for retail trade intermediation (activity 479121)
·
Provision of delivery services via online platforms (activity 532013)
That licence is not a technicality — it describes exactly what we do, and section 2 explains what it means for you.
“Fassel”, “we” and “us” mean that company. “You” means the person using the app or the website. “Tailor” means an independent tailoring business listed on Fassel.

2. What Fassel does, and what it does not do

We do not make or sell garments. Every garment on Fassel is made and sold by an independent tailoring business. When you place an order, your contract for the garment is with that tailor. They decide whether to accept it, they set the price, and they are responsible for the garment itself — the fit, the fabric, the workmanship.
What we do ourselves is bring you together, take your measurements at home if you ask us to, collect the finished garment, and deliver it to you. Those are our services, performed by our people, and we are responsible for them.
So, plainly:
·
The garment — fit, fabric, workmanship, how long it takes to make: the tailor's service, and the tailor answers for it.
·
Measuring you at home: ours, and we answer for it.
·
Collecting and delivering: ours, and we answer for it.
·
The app, the listings, taking your payment: ours, and we answer for it.
We collect payment on the tailor's behalf and pass it to them after deducting our commission. Collecting money for someone does not make us the seller of what it was for.
None of this leaves you alone with a problem. If a garment is wrong, you tell us and we take it up with the tailor — see section 9. You never have to chase a shop yourself.

3. Your account

You need an account to order. You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code, so keep your number secure and tell us if you lose access to it.
Give us information that is accurate and keep it current. A wrong address or an old phone number is the most common reason a delivery fails.
One account per person. Do not create an account for someone else without their knowledge, and do not let anyone else use yours.
You must be 18 or over to hold an account. If you are ordering for a child, see section 6.

What you agree to when you sign up

When you create your account you are asked to confirm, in one tick, that you have read and accept these terms and our Privacy Notice. We record that you did and when — a consent we cannot evidence is a consent we did not properly obtain, and Qatar's Personal Data Protection Law requires it to be explicit.
That single tick covers what we need to run your orders and nothing else:
·
Messages about your own orders — an appointment confirmation, a price to approve, a delivery on its way — are part of the service. You receive these because you placed an order, not because you opted in, and they stop when your orders do.
·
Offers, news and anything promotional is a separate choice, asked separately, and off unless you turn it on. You can turn it off again at any time in the app, without giving a reason and without it affecting anything else.
We will not bundle the two. Agreeing to these terms is never treated as agreeing to marketing, and refusing marketing never costs you any part of the service.
If we make a material change to either document, we ask again rather than assuming the old tick still covers it.

4. Placing an order

Fassel handles three kinds of order, and they work differently.
·
Ready-made. The tailor already has the item. You see the price before you order, you pay it, and we deliver.
·
Tailored, with a home measurement visit. You pay a QAR 50 measurement fee at booking and nothing else at that point. One of our measurers comes to you at the time you chose. Your measurements go to the tailor, the tailor sets a price, and we tell you what it is. You then decide whether to accept it. Only once you have paid does the tailor begin work.
·
Tailored, using measurements we already hold — from an earlier visit, from an in-store fitting, or ones you entered yourself. You see the price before you order.
An order is not a contract until the tailor accepts it. Occasionally a tailor cannot take an order — they are full, or they do not have the fabric — and we will tell you and refund you in full.
You are never obliged to accept a price you did not agree in advance. Refusing a price after a home visit cancels the order and costs you nothing beyond the QAR 50 the visit itself cost.

5. Measurements

If one of our measurers takes your measurements, getting them right is our responsibility.
If you enter your own measurements, or ask us to use ones you gave us before, then the numbers are yours. We will tell you when this is what is happening and ask you to confirm it. A garment cut correctly to the wrong measurements is not a fault in the garment.
We keep your measurements so you do not have to be measured again for every order. You can view, correct or delete them in the app at any time.

6. Ordering for children

The Kids section covers boys' thobes and occasion wear for ages 2 to 14. To use it you must be the child's parent or legal guardian, and by creating a measurement profile for a child you confirm that you are, and that you consent to us holding that child's name and measurements for the purpose of making their clothes.
You can see, correct and delete everything we hold about your child at any time, in the same place you added it.

7. Prices and payment

All prices are in Qatari Riyals and include any applicable tax.
What you pay may include the garment price, the QAR 50 home measurement fee, and a delivery fee. Each is shown separately before you pay.
Prices on Fassel are set by the tailor. Where a garment has to be priced after measuring, that price is given to you before you are asked to pay it.
We do not store your card details.

8. Cancelling, and refunds

Our Cancellation and Refund Policy is part of these terms and sets out the detail.
The short version: you can cancel while your order is still at its first stage. Once a tailor has accepted it and started work, it cannot be cancelled — because your garment is being made and will be delivered to you.
The QAR 50 measurement fee is refunded at that first stage only if your appointment is more than 6 hours away; inside that, the measurer's time is already committed.
And whatever else, you can always refuse a price. On a tailored order priced after a home visit, you decide whether to accept what the tailor quotes. If you refuse, the order ends, nothing of the garment is charged, and only the QAR 50 visit fee is kept — because the visit happened.

9. If something is wrong with your garment

Tell us within 3 days of delivery, with photographs. Contact details are in section 15.
·
If the fault is in the making — stitching, fabric, finish — the tailor repairs or remakes it at no cost to you. We raise it with them; you do not have to.
·
If the garment does not match measurements taken by one of our measurers, the error is ours. We arrange the alteration or remake at no cost to you, and we do not charge you a second measurement fee.
·
Where neither a repair nor a remake is possible, we arrange a refund of the garment price with the tailor.
Changing your mind about colour, cut or style after a garment has been made is not a fault.

10. Reviews

Only write a review of an order you actually placed, and say what you actually think. Do not write a review for anyone else, and do not write one about a business you have an interest in.
We remove reviews that are not genuine, that identify other people, or that are abusive. We do not remove a review for being critical.

11. Tailors on Fassel

Tailors are independent businesses. They are not our employees, our agents or our partners in a legal sense, and nothing they say to you is said on our behalf.
We choose which tailors to list and we can stop listing one at any time.

12. Using the app properly

Do not use Fassel to break the law, to harass anyone, to interfere with how the service works, or to take data out of it automatically. We can suspend or close an account that does.
If we close your account, any order already in progress is completed or refunded normally.

13. Our content

The Fassel name, logo, app, website and everything we have written or designed belong to us. You may use them to use the service, and not for anything else.
Anything you upload — a review, a photograph, a note on an order — stays yours, and you allow us to display it where it belongs on the service.

14. Responsibility and its limits

We take responsibility for our own services — the measurement visit, the collection and delivery, and the app — and for doing them with reasonable care.
We are not responsible for the garment itself, which is the tailor's, except where the fault is ours as described in section 9.
Nothing in these terms removes any right you have under the consumer protection law of the State of Qatar, and nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Subject to that, our liability in connection with an order is limited to what you paid for that order.

16. Privacy

How we handle your information — including your measurements, your addresses, and your child's data if you use the Kids section — is set out in our Privacy Notice, which is part of these terms.

17. Changes

We may change these terms. If a change matters to you we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Orders already placed are governed by the terms that applied when you placed them.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and the courts of Qatar have jurisdiction over any dispute.
